Materials You’ll Need Flexible magnet sheeting Metal cookie sheet Sheets of paper Exploration Cut squares of magnetic sheeting that are 1 cm on each side,  2 cm on each side, and 3 cm on each side.  What's the area of each square? Hold the cookie sheet vertically, and record how many sheets of paper you can hang using the 1 cm square magnet. Repeat with the other two magnets. Graph your data, letting the x-axis indicate the area of the magnet and the y-axis the number of sheets of paper.
